Yesterday the Asia Pacific Coating Shows welcomed visitors from all over the Southern Asia and the rest of the world, to the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. The show was opened by Julina Bt. Zainal Abidin West, Chairperson of the Malaysian Paint Manufacturers' Association (MPMA).
By the afternoon, the place was busy with 1240 attendees from 35 countries all keen to learn about the latest product developments in the paint and coatings industry, Final attendee figures and a full country breakdown will be published in Asia Pacific Coatings Journal (APCI) October Issue.
"TQC very much support the APCS on its return to KL, we use the opportunity to attend and speak with customers and suppliers in the region and to plan global strategies for the next 12 months. We anticipate good growth within the Malaysian Paint market and APCS will act as a launch pad for some new developments planned over the next few montsh. As always, I welcome meeting customers old and new and anticipate a highly successful show," Alistair Kerrigan, TQC.

This year 15 papers are being presented from both industry and academia at APCS conference under the theme: 'Progress in Organic Coatings Science and Technology', in association with the Coatings Research Institute (CoRI).
